The Wesleyan Methodist Church made a submission to the Select Committee (Justice) on the Conversion Practices Prohibition Bill. The submission supports the purpose of the Bill to prohibit harmful conversion therapies but seeks an amendment to ensure families are supported to have healthy dialogue on issues of sexuality and gender and that individuals are able to seek support, advice and prayer from the church.
